AIDS Project
Snohomish County and AIDS Memorial
Committee have joined forces to bring a dream to fruition. AIDS Project
Snohomish County (APSC) is a non-profit organization created 9 years ago and is
a benefactor to organizations in our county who assist people afflicted with
HIV/AIDS. AIDS Memorial Committee is the group of people who spearheaded the
project for an AIDS Memorial in Snohomish County.
Over the past 4 years they have, thru commercial and private donations, raised
over $10,000. With their combined efforts we aim to have the AIDS Memorial
designed and constructed in a public location by WORLD AIDS DAY, December 1,
2005.
AIDS Project Snohomish
County has partnered with Albertson's to help raise funds for
many AIDS events. You too can help in a very simple by
effective way. Each time supporters shop at Albertsons and Sav-on Drugs with their
registered "Preferred Savings Card", Albertson's will make a donation to "AIDS
Project Snohomish County". Should you not have an Albertson's Preferred Savings
Card, you can pick one up at any Albertson's Grocery Store. To register your
card as an
"AIDS Project Snohomish County (A.P.S.C.) Community Partner" you will need to
follow these instructions:
1). With your Albertson's
Preferred Savings Card in hand, follow this link:
Albertson's Community Partners
2). Click on:
Shoppers
login or register with your Preferred Savings Card
first.
3). Under sign in: enter
your card number (on the back of your card under the
UPC code) and your phone number and click on
"login".
4). This will open the
Community Partners page, click on "Sign Me Up"
5). In the top field, where
it asks for an 11-digit Community Partner number, enter
this #; 4 90001 15826
6). It will then take you
to a page describing your account and what percentage of
your contribution will go to "AIDS Project Snohomish
County". Normally 100%, unless you choose to add another
organization to your share Albertson's contribution.
Once this is done, you can
check to see what Albertson's donates to "AIDS Project
Snohomish County" each quarter, by clicking on "My
Report".
